Small business 

Throughout my career, I have personally set up and run a number of small businesses. It's tough. It's really tough.

Small businesses are the backbone of our economy. We need to do better by them. I feel strongly that the current Administration and our elected representatives have left small businesses behind.

 

The current policies serve only to put small business owners and workers into bankruptcy so that billionaires like Pete Ricketts and his friends can buy them up at pennies on the dollar. 

 

• The White House just slashed the workforce of the Small Business Administration by 43%.

• Tariffs increase costs for businesses while offering few advantages to operations working on the smallest of margins. 

 

I believe in supporting and encouraging small businesses who are investing in our future with tax breaks, low interest loans and incentives, especially for startups.
